About: Lagan Valley Hospital / Medical Day Case Unit

(as a service user),

I have been attending the medical day care ward at the Lagan Valley Hospital every couple of weeks since April to get a magnesium infusion.

The staff on the ward are great -very friendly and professional. Always make you feel at ease and comfortable - even during all the covid-19 regulations.

Jill  who is the sister on that ward is amazing - always makes sure she speaks to you and checks how you are even if she isn't dealing with your care. Never lets you leave without saying goodbye and making sure you know what the next stage of your treatment is - she manages a great team and deserves recognition.

We really appreciate your feedback at a time with things have been really challenging for everyone and it is very reassuring to know that you felt "at ease and comfortable" during your treatment. It is encouraging to know that the care given remains professional and of a high standard.
