About: Upton Road Surgery

The Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner has been superb for me. A recurrent disc problem coupled with lockdown had left me more or less unable to move. The physio has got me mobile again to a degree, even with the limitations on treatment at the moment. We are now focussing on a detailed assessment and hopefully a long term solution when circumstances allow.

One surgery demerit is the almost impenetrable "triage by telephonist" system (even if you finally get through).

Thank you for taking the time to add your comments and I am glad that Sam has started to make some changes with you.

We have asked our Patient Advisors to triage every call into the practice so that we can put our patients in touch with the most appropriate member of our clinical team.

I am sorry if it took you some time to get through, we are experiencing very high call volumes due to COVID as more and more of our patients are calling us for advice.
