"Waiting outside"

About: Regis Medical Centre

Went for a flue jab 22/09/2020. Message on the door ring the bell, two people in front had already rung the bell. 10 mins later still waiting, door opened an assistant let the first lady in and form filling had to be done. By the time we were let in another 5 people waiting outside one a very elderly lady and a young distraught mother with a new born baby who barged past me, no social distancing, I told her she had to wait at which she started ranting at me then at the nurse who let me and my husband in, the young woman was obviously in distress . My concern, it was a lovely day but as I write this it is pouring of rain, goodness knows what will happen today. I am aware all precautions have to be taken but more needs to be done, there was only 2 people in the waiting room so social distancing could be observed and for the flue jab the conservatory room was empty apart from the nurse. I did see 2 people while we were waiting outside had forms done by one person from the chemist both in and out after having a flue jab. Needs more organisation or more staff dealing with this.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am very sorry to read of the experience you have had at the surgery.

We are however short staff at the moment but a plan has been put in place to ensure there is someone on the front door.

Again we apologise for any inconvenienced caused

Kind regards
