"Repeat prescriptions and increased anxiety"

I have been taking consultant prescribed medication for a number of years, since this at one time ensured that you were not getting generic medication, and that my GP surgery could not stop me getting the correct repeat medication.

This problem has been going on since 1996, but over the years it is just how the practice operates. In the past few years my sleeping medication has been stopped several times, and the excuse is a review, yet my records show in writing letters from a consultant stating dosage etc. I feel I have been pushed into attending a CBT courses, on pain of stopping sleeping meds. I feel this is lip service from the practice to patients around mental health

Am anxious and scared for days before and after a prescription is submitted, especially since the practice does not keep seem to keep accurate records of my prescriptions. Much worse having to contact them  by phone as constantly engaged, and anxiety levels massive when they call back.
