About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Emergency department

(as the patient),

I attended A&E recently and was triaged very quickly, then bloods and ECG completed by HCA Joanne who was very pleasant and then seen by Dr Aine  who listened to all my symptoms and made me feel at ease.  Dr Aine was very thorough and carried out extra tests and explained why. 

I was in and out of A&E in 4 hours even though it was very busy and the staff were extremely pleasant and caring at all times.  Thank you so much to both staff.
