"There wasn't an ophthalmologist on duty"

About: East Of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust / NHS 111

(as the patient),

I attended A&E following advice from the 111 service. As expected there wasn't an ophthalmologist on duty. I was given an appt for 0900 on Monday.

I appreciate there won't be specialists on duty at the weekend but it meant l was in severe pain for another 24 hrs until l could get the eye drops l needed.

Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately this has come to the East of England Ambulance Service rather than the hospital you attended.

Please forward your feedback to the relevant hospital and they will be able to look into this incident for you.

Many Thanks

Jo
