"Feeling like a time waster"

About: General practices in Forth Valley

(as the patient),

I had a bad spell of pneumonia at the end of November last year, my GP diagnosed me with a pulled muscle I had just had a baby and ended up in A& E a week later with severe pneumonia, I had two lots of antibiotics for two rounds as the first round didn’t clear it. Two weeks ago I visited the GP as I still don’t feel 100% and get pain in my back and chest. I explained over the phone as part of a consultation due to covid, the DR was not helpful and said well if you feel you need to be seen come in. I was made to feel like I was wasting their time, They listened to my chest and said it’s all clear and sat and stared at me I left feeling like a hypochondriac. I am still experiencing the pain and scared to call back.
