"Excellent but waiting area was not covid-19 safe"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

I visited the QEII Urgent Care Centre on 5 September 2020 and received a very quick, efficient and professional medical service. However I was completely shocked to find that the seating in the waiting area was not Covid-19 safe. Even though some seats were not in use, the side-by-side separation was about 1 metre and front to back was nil. Yet there are notices on the walls saying you should keep 2 metres apart!

What I found even more strange is both staff and other patients seemed to oblivious to this proximity problem.
