"Gallbladder removal"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was seen by a consultant in July who said that I needed surgery, I was amazed when 2 weeks later I got a call from the hospital to say that I would be having my surgery and that I needed to go into isolation. I would receive a Covid test 2 days before my surgery and if everything was OK surgery would go ahead as planned.  I had the surgery and could not fault any of the team concerned from the nurses through to the surgeon who performed the operation, I can only once again say a big thank you to all the NHS staff for making me feel as relaxed as possible during my short stay at Queen Margaret's Hospital.

Thank you

Dear Lizzielou

Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent stay in day surgery. Im delighted to see everyone made you feel as relaxed as possible it is very daunting and scary coming into hospital.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the ward and theatre staff

Wishing you well in your recovery

Kind regards

Mandy
