From the moment I entered the Hospital I was greeted by friendly faces, I was asked, politely, if I knew where to go and when I arrived on the ward was taken under the wing of staff nurse Lisa. She went through all the necessary paperwork and got me settled in, there were some student nurses on the ward and they carried out their jobs very efficiently. I was asked lots of relevant questions by the various people who would be part of my care, although this was repetitive I can see how very necessary it is. I met most if not all the anesthetic staff and was well informed of their involvement and some of the theatre staff who came in to introduce themselves and ask some questions, all together with Mr Chigaru, my consultant. I was well informed throughout and very well looked after. From the nurses under staff nurse Lisa to the anesthetic and theatre staff.I think an accountant can put a price on my op, but the care and attention I received was priceless, so I say a big thank you to all of those dedicated ladies and gentlemen who've helped me on the road to recovery and normality.
"Care and attention received was priceless"
