"Fantastic team and birth experience"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Maternity

(as a service user),

I have seen a lot of stories about the impact on partner restrictions having a negative impact on birth experience. Whilst I also found this hard, I understand the reasons why this had to happen. Of course I missed my partner being at my scan but the midwives were so AMAZING and supportive throughout my pregnancy and birth. I would rather the restrictions be as they are rather than have had a risk of catching covid whilst I was pregnant. I think these restrictions are with our best interests at heart and it makes me feel sad when I see people being negative towards the amazing staff over the visiting. This is a global pandemic people!
