I called and got a phone slot with the advanced nurse practitioner at St Ronans. She called and asked lots of questions and subsequently gave me an appointment the same afternoon to see her.
She was so welcoming as I was worried about going back to the surgery during a pandemic.
I felt safe. She ran a few test and quickly diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome. She advised me how to manage the pain with painkillers and fitted me with a wrist splint for nighttime. She said to call back at any time and not to suffer in silence.
