"Excellent nursing care"

My great uncle has had a stormy few months with his health. Despite being in his late 80s, he lived independently in his own home until this Spring when he became unwell. He has been cared for between Altnagelvin and Waterside Hospital since and is currently in Ward 42.

My mum and her sisters would like to thank the staff of the ward especially Staff Nurse Dervla and Ward Manager Paul. They have gone above and beyond to keep us in touch with Jim where possible and also allowed us to visit Jim yesterday before I have left to return home to Glasgow. During these testing times of Covid, this extra attention and care from the staff is even more appreciated and we thank the Ward 42 team hugely.
