"Felt scared for my injury"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Rushed to a&e when my recent surgery stitches looked badly infected, bleeding a lot and giving me excruciating pain leaving me screaming and crying In the waiting room for 30m before moving me to minor injuries! Then took another 30 mins to realise it was an emergency and when back to a&e, spent hours there (also it took 2 hours into this whole ordeal to get hold of pain killers) couldn’t help but scream in pain when some nurses would shut the curtain on me screaming without asking if I’m okay and walk off. Then got transferred up to orthopaedics and was given a nice bed and a quiet ward which was nice and had a better experience from them apart from no one ever answers the call button EVER and if you want pain relief you gotta ask in advance if you actually want it on time
