"Some incredibly stressful times"

(as a service user),

I'm going through some incredibly stressful times, and to top it off my cooker broke and I have not been able to have a hot meal in weeks

My support worker James got me a grant from the corona resilient fund and I was able to purchase a cooker. I am looking forward to a hot meal tonight when it is delivered, I couldn't ask for a more supportive worker than James hes the one I always turn to when I have a problem and he always helps me sort it out

My name is Lydia and I am part of the team who gets back to people when they tell us about their experiences.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been going through a very stressful time and it must have been really frustrating to have your cooker break down, especially during the current pandemic when it's more difficult to get things like that sorted.

It's great to hear that James was able to get you some support from the resilience fund that meant you were able to buy a new cooker. I hope it got delivered okay and that you've really enjoyed being able to eat hot food again.

James and his manager have been made aware of your feedback and they were both really happy to hear how supportive you feel James is.

Stay strong, keep asking for support when you need it and I hope that life starts to settle down and become less stressful for you soon.
