I visited the urgent care department on Sunday night after receiving an appointment from the 111 service.

As I rarely visit the doctor and never the hospital I was very apprehensive, particularly in the present situation.

I had been given an appointment time and only had to wait for 10 minutes .

The reception staff were lovely and very cheerful.

The young doctor who attended me was friendly, polite, professional and very helpful.

The standards of hygiene were excellent
