Previously had an amazing experience so was keen to go back after a massive life trauma. This was the worst mistake I've ever made. After a very encouraging assessment with the nicest person I felt like everything was going to be OK. Instead my subsequent visit was with a woman who displayed annoyance at my tears and then went on to try and diagnose my brain surgery going completely against my surgeon suggesting I should not use scissors or knives and that I was out of touch with reality. Not only had I been cleared for therapy by my surgeon and never in my life had a problem with sharp objects, I had no idea why she felt it needed saying seeing as I had been cooking for myself and using scissors whilst doing crafts for weeks before I saw her, it made no sense. I went in because I'd experienced something that had scared the hell out of me and I needed help processing it her parting words were we have nothing to offer you here. I left feeling worthless and worried I had problems I hadn't even noticed it took weeks for my family to help me feel like I actually was safe and ok. Having worked in health care for over 20 years I've often recommended this service now i implore people to avoid them at all costs. My advice to this service would be if your unsure what someone's surgery has entailed then ask not once did she investigate what had happened to me physically what type of tumour I'd had and what damage if any it had caused. At the lowest time in my life you made me feel undeserving of anyone's time and like I wasn't safe to be alone or look after myself. I spoke to the manager he was apologetic, I was offered another session with someone else but I have zero faith in your service and would never ever go back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS there's better services elsewhere free and at cost. Even my doctor was disgusted

Thank you for taking time to post your feedback. I am pleased to hear your initial experience of our service was a good one. I am sorry this has not been the case more recently. Whist you say you have spoken to a manager; it does not sound like your complaint reached a satisfactory conclusion.
