"My nine day old baby having RSV"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was rushed to the hospital in govan for kids she kept having a pause in her breathing( Apnea) we were rushed straight through to resuscitation room all the staff were there in a flash they were very gentle with her the whole time and very reassuring for me. She had to be admitted to PICU due to testing positive for RSV and struggling to breathe on her own with such a fantastic team she had a nures with her 24-7. It was a very frightening time for myself and her daddy though my daughter was very settled in their care. They staff were amazing the entire time from first arriving to admission to picu then down to a ward (were I got to stay overnight with her) im so grateful of all the staff and they do a fantastic job
