"Everyone was compassionate, patient and caring."

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gastroenterology South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

I was on holiday in Mevagissey Cornwall. I woke up with terrible pain in my right leg and a temperature of 41C. My husband called an ambulance as I was delirious. From the moment the ambulance arrived, the care I received was amazing. Everyone, from the doctors to the cleaners were compassionate, incredibly patient and caring. I have had many hospital admissions over the past 20 years as I have Lupus, and this admission was a true example of the NHS at its best.

Thank you to everyone, particularly the staff on GLU ward.
