In January this year I fell and broke my wrist after the 6 weeks I got my plaster off early March. I developed CRPS and my wrist and hand stiffened and was recommended for physiotherapist. That came just before lockdown and it took some 4 months before I was able to get an appointment since then over I have been able to get 3 appointments so I have reverted to paying a private physio on a weekly basis.
As an 80 year old I have been left where I cannot dress myself cook for myself and much more. I understand we are living in unusual times but I am only one perhaps of thousands who are the fall out of closing down every thing medical.
I suffered 2 years ago from a stroke and suffer from AF I am supposed to have my kidney checked by a blood test every 5 months it is now 10 months since I had my last one I spoke to my doctors surgery this week to try and organise one and have a consultation with my doctor about a review of my meds as I have been feeling poorly and was told by the receptionist that there was no appointments available except emergency.
