"Great cafe from everyone involved"

About: Freeman Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Ward 1 Freeman Hospital in August and I was a bit nervous as this was my first appointment at the hospital since the COVID19 lockdown. The thought of the procedure (biopsy) didn’t help. I had a great conversations (felt valued, included in the decision making and informed) with the nurses; Dawn (who I shares a birthday with 😄) & team (including the student nurses who were checking vitals), Ms Lavin & everyone I spoke to! It really helped to calm my nerves

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your care on ward 1 at the Freeman hospital. We are pleased that the staff were able to calm your nerves and you were informed and involved in the decisions that were made in your procedure. We will forward to the directorate concerned who will share with the staff involved in your care.
