I gave birth in birth Centre last week and would highly recommend it. After having terrible experience giving birth at St. Mary's hospital we decided on trying birth Centre at whittington and what a change that was! From the phone call to the arrival i felt already in much more relax environment (which helps during labour). At arrival I was taken to the room, offered covid test, examined and introduced to my midwife. I was offered water birth (unfortunately I progressed quiet quickly and there was no time). My midwife was absolute star! I couldn't wish for better one. She was exlerianced, encouraging and just what I needed at the time. Room was specious with birth pool, birth stool, ball and more. My Little girl arrived in the early mornig and we were left to bond which was so lovely. My partner was allowed to stay and we had all time for skin to skin and lots of first cuddles with our new arrival. I would highly recommend it.
