I was admitted to Ninewells after a complex ankle fracture. On admission I was immediately struck by the efficiency and kindness of the staff. The immediate procedures were explained to me and appropriate pain relief ensured. After surgery I spent time both on Ward 9 and Ward 18. In both busy wards, staff were unfailingly kind, efficient and professional. We were treated with respect, patience and real humanity. They all deserve great credit.
