My GP told me to attend Monklands Hospital because I have had a cyst which is very painful and is causing a numbness down the side of my head. I have had a few courses of antibiotics to try and clear it.
Once I arrived I got checked in and seated. There were a few patients in front of me in the minor injuries department. Each got taken to not a room at the front and asked what was wrong with them however the member of staff would have been better just carrying out this process in the waiting room as they were that loud the whole room heard everyone’s business. God help anyone if they had anything personal to say.
There after everyone was sent back to their seats to wait to see the consultant. When I got taken in the consultant the staff member apologised for messing me around said we can’t do anything for cysts you will need a special appointment and to be honest nobody is doing these just now because of COVID.
So basically go away stay in pain and see how f it goes away itself. Remind me who said the NHS was open for business. Not a major trauma injury but one that I will need to take pain killers daily for a few weeks maybe longer if this does not bust before then
