About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU)

(as the patient),

I was admired in to Hairmyers a few days ago with type 1 diabetes and I must say the doctors and nurses and support staff were truly amazing so helpful and did everything they could to make sure I was looked after! I’m not a big fan of hospitals however this time was certainly memorable for all the right reasons! I can’t thank everyone enough for how they treated me! I know people won’t believe me but I’ve actually had worse stays in 4 star hotels! So I’d like to take this opportunity to praise and thank all the staff who looked after me! Keep up the great work
