"Thank you"

I am currently at home recovering from gall bladder removal surgery following a chronic gall bladder infection at the start of the pandemic and am writing to acknowledge the care I received from Thornbury.

From the pre operation phone call from a staff member the day prior to my admission to talk me through the process and enable me to discuss any queries I had, the warm welcome at the hospital from the Nurse who then admitted me and put me at my ease, the Anaesthetist and Surgeon and the nursing and support staff who conducted the operation and the Nurses who cared for me following the operation, and the Nurse who cared for me through the night and discharged me the following morning.

The Pharmacy who dispensed my prescription, the Catering Staff who provided good food and endless supplies of iced water and cups of tea, and the Cleaning and Laundry teams whose efforts in maintaining high standards of cleanliness were evidenced throughout the hospital.

Thank you to everyone concerned, everyone I had dealings with were lovely and as a Trust you should be immensely proud of your team.
