I was cared for during my pregnancy by one of the midwifes Holly at the RAH. My experience was very positive and the care and support I received was faultless. Even through a health pandemic Holly ensured that I got all the support I needed and kept me up to date with all my appointments.
During The birth Emma, Toni ( student midwife) and Karen delivered our baby my experience again was positive and the care and support I received was fantastic. My husband was also supported during the birth experience from all the midwifes.
Once our baby was born Holly managed to come to the CMLU and see us which was really appreciated. The aftercare I received was also very good and I felt supported and cared for during my stay . I decided to stay a extra night in the CMLU to get some support with breastfeeding I was supposed by a maternity care assistant called Rachel. 8 weeks on my breastfeeding journey is going good and I have the support and patience from Rachel to thank for this.
I want to thank all the staff at the RAH maternity ward for giving me and my husband support and our baby the best possible start in life.
"The support I received was faultless"
