"Visit to the emergency department"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was seen very promptly at the reception desk and she promptly triaged me, checking my pulse and heart rate. I was then sent through to the blue room and also seen within a matter of minutes and was checked out by a doctor. He then sent me through to the x ray department and they also within a matter of minutes had me in a changing room changing into a gown. Which I then entered the x ray room and was in there for at the most 2 minutes. Which then I was sent back through to see the doctor and get my results. This was a very easy process and was a lot quicker than I could of ever imagined.

Dear Soreribs123

Thank you for using Care Opinion to share the details of your experience of visiting the Emergency Department (ED) at Borders General Hospital.

It is great to hear that you were seen so promptly at every stage of the process. I will ensure your positive feedback is shared with staff in the ED and the Radiology Department.

I hope you have now fully recovered from your rib injury (I am assuming you attended ED because of sore ribs given your user name!).

Best wishes

Karen
