I was referred to Ninewells by my GP with Severe abdominal pain. The doctor and team who saw me when I arrived were so caring and supportive, explained the situation clearly and kept me informed at every stage. I could not have asked for more.
The following morning the decision was made to operate, what turned out to be more extensive surgery than predicted. Post operation the surgeons and ward team could not have been kinder, taking time to explain what they had found and why the decision had been made on the way forward. I am so grateful to have access to such an amazing team.
