"Superb care for what turned out to be a broken ankle!"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as a service user),

My doctor’s surgery recommended I go to minor injuries after I contacted them about my swollen ankle-I had fallen in an unforeseen large hole and really hurt myself.

The minute I arrived at the New Victoria Minor Injuries Unit In Glasgow I was incredibly impressed. From the receptionist to the medical team everyone was lovely and kind. I had very little waiting time and was taken straight through to x-ray. The hygiene was great and all the COVID 19 preventions were in place.
Particularly would like to thank the practitioner who put my plaster on for her kindness and help.
A huge thank you to everyone!

Dear Stookied Up in Glasgow

Thank you for your lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent in the Minor Injuries Unit of the New Victoria Hospital.

Firstly I would like to wish you a speedy recovery with your swollen ankle. I was glad to hear you had such a pleasant experience within the Minor Injuries Unit and you were happy with the staff and precautions we have had to put in place due to COVID.

I will be sure to pass on your comments to the relevant staff particularly the practitioner who put the plaster on your foot who I'm sure will be humbled to hear you were so happy with the service provided.

Kind Regards

Kevin
