"My Wife"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Stroke Unit (Ward 11)

(as a carer),

My Wife was admitted to Ward 11 after suffering a major stroke. Unfortunately she never survived the trauma, however the care she and indeed us as a grieving family received from the staff at Ward 11 was exceptional and very much appreciated.

We need to value our NHS more and never allow any government to sell them short....

Dear Wulba

Can I pass on my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your wife, my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. It is especially appreciated that you have taken the time to post your lovely comments.

The ward staff strive at all times to deliver a high standard of care but it is reassuring to read that the care you and your family received was exceptional. I will ensure your post is shared with the ward team.

Please take care and look after yourself and your family at this time

Kind regards

Janice
