"Fantastic service"

About: Southmead Hospital

Fantastic service from start to finish. I was in severe pain and was admitted in really fast. They took my blood pressure and all other tests almost immediately. I was also offered to take ultrasound scans to investigate properly into cause of my pain (which helped a lot to identify the problem and make a correct diagnosis... something I struggled with for months, visiting numerous doctors). Everyone was very professional but above all, very warm and sympathetic too, beginning from my lovely doctor as well as the nurses and finally, the ultrasound team who were very knowledgable and helped to find out what was wrong. I've been given painkillers and also regularly checked on. The amount of work these people do everyday is insane, yet they stay calm, professional and approachable too. I wanted to learn more about my condition and further treatment options so the doctor took all the time necessary to patiently respond all of my questions and concerns. The team also encouraged me to come without hesitation should I experience that sort of acute pain again. I am very very pleased, definitely a satisfied patient. Can confidently say I was in good hands. Thank you everyone at Southmead A&E on the eve of 23 of July.
