"upset by nurses comments"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow

(as the patient),

I'm going to keep it pretty short sorry.... Just for one reasons it's bad enough for me to think about never mind have to right it down but for long enough iv always wanted to know someone highers opinion on this. Surly it's wrong to treat someone like this... I suffer from flare ups have done for 11 years they are still investigating in now.... I was admitted to QEUH with one off my flare up I'm not going to go in to to much detail but that night yes I hit the wrong button as I was in that much pain I felt my inside where going to burst my feet slipped away from me by this time the pain was excruciating  I was lying naked, two nurses came in flung the towels down ones says to another that I was withdrawn from drugs. Next morning I had additional team at my bed! never touch a drug in my life apart from the ones my doctor has prescribed me. !

Dear Caz8

I am very disappointed to read your post. This is not the standard of care that we should be providing to our patients and it is important that we investigate this

Would you mind getting in touch via my email (Nicole.McInally@ggc.scot.nhs.uk) with your personal details and the ward?

Thank you

Nicole

Update posted by Caz8 (the patient)

Thought I was getting somewhere and get a phone to say my complaint is time barred think it's shocking how they can put a time on a complaint no wonder things are the way they are and people are getting no help!

Dear Caz8

I have spoken with my colleagues in Complaints. They have advised that they thought that PASS was going to submit the complaint on your behalf. If this is not the case please let me know. The Lead Complaints Manager has advised that she will be happy to take your complaint over the phone if this would make it easier for you. My email address is Nicole.McInally@ggc.scot.nhs.uk

My apologies for the confusion.

Kind Regards

Nicole
