"The whole experience felt very safe"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as the patient),

I visited the MI unit today with what turned out to be a fractured finger. The unit has recently reopened following temporary closure due to COVID restrictions. The system in place was excellent. Met at the door, temperature taken, booked in and asked to provide a mobile number then return to wait in my car. Waiting area and patient flow through the unit was very easy to understand (I went to x ray and back). The whole experience felt very safe. The staff were all very friendly, kind and professional. Thank you!

Dear Arisaig123

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback and wish you a speedy recovery with your fractured finger.

I'm glad the new processes that have been put in place made you feel comfortable and most of all made you feel safe in this very difficult time.

I will pass on your comments to the staff in the MIU Department at the New Victoria Hospital who I'm sure will be absolutely delighted to hear such glowing feedback about their service.

Take care and thanks again. It's means a lot.

Kind regards

Kevin
