Ive been trying all day for 3 days to book a blood test arranged by consultant its imposssible to get through whats going on i appreciate the circumstances but this is ridiculous

We are sorry to note the issues you have faced in trying to get through to the Phlebotomy service telephone line. They are seeing an increased demand on their service and this is reflected in the number of telephone calls that they are receiving.

They are looking into ways to resolve this and in the short term the service is adding an additional telephone number for patients to call, which will have an additional three operatives taking calls. This is planned to be in place next week. The service is also looking at how to address this issue on a long term basis.
