I was getting termination in Aberdeen hospital.

It is a private and confidential thing for a women to have to go through. The facilities that I was in that I had a whole ward to myself and I wasn’t even in a single room to get private for the procedure I was getting

Hi Buchan1

Thank you for sharing your recent experience while in hospital for a termination of pregnancy. When you were admitted to a bed in a 4 bedded area there would have been no other patients allocated to that room on the day. The en-suite toilet would have been for your use only. The staff pull the curtains at the end of the room to allow for privacy from the corridor.

I am sorry that you were not allocated a single room to allow for privacy and confidentiality as you would have expected.
