As soon as I arrived at the Romford clinic the first encounter that I had was with the receptionists who were extremely rude. I was then told to wait in the waiting area and I finally got called in by the the nurse 20 minutes later than what I had scheduled. The nurse came across very intimidating and cold, almost as if she wasn’t in a good mood. I was having a medical abortion so she was explaining the process to me but It was completely rushed and unorganised. Unfortunately her presence was not friendly at all, and as you can imagine I was already nervous about the whole process so her demeanour made me feel more anxious. After she quickly explained everything in minutes, I had an ultra-sound scan and after that she was then looking at the ultra sound photos in front of me, I could clearly see the photos and as you can imagine I did not want to see that during such a distressing time. I was out of there within 10 minutes. Overall, the entire experience was awful, I was not treated like a human being, I felt disrespected and not cared for. I would never go back to this clinic and would not recommend unless you have thick skin. I hope the Romford clinic can take this onboard and treat their future patients with more kindness, patience and respect as this can really take a toll on someone mentally. I still feel sad about the whole experience to this day.
