"getting better"

About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as the patient),

I had a stroke and Sue, Gavin, Margaret and the rest of the Community Stroke Team have all done everything they possibly could to help me, especially in the situation as it is. I'm very grateful. It's nice to know that there's someone on the end of the line who's willing to give advice and talk. It means that I don't feel so alone and is very reassuring.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your recent experience of the Community Stroke Team. I will ensure that the team see this, specifically Sue, Gavin, Margaret whom you have mentioned.

It is really important to us that we hear from patients/carers/family to inform us of how we are doing, in order to shape the delivery of services to provide the best care possible.

I'm an very pleased to hear that you felt support and reassured. We have had to adapt to a new ways of working due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, but feel reassured that the feedback we are getting is positive and that that we are still able to help and support stroke survivors like yourself through your recovery.

We wish you a continued recovery and all the best for the future.

Thank you so much.

Claire Lee
