"False promises from William Harvey Hospital"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

(as the patient),

Was told by an A&E doctor at William Harvey in Ashford that in a few days I’ll get a call from them with an URGENT appointment for an endoscopy. Heard nothing. My GP didn’t have a clue what I was on about so I’m guessing the doctor didn’t tell them. Managed to get through to main reception where a poor receptionist on her own was fielding calls to departments who don’t answer the phone. Endoscopy and A&E in my experience. No call queuing system so after a while waiting the phone hangs up and your forced to try calling again.

NHS = No Help Sorry.

What will end up happening, is I’ll be back in A&E taking valuable bed space. To avoid that, they just need to get organised. Sort yourselves out or please get in contact with me so I can get better and start eating again!
