I rang the surgery at 8.30am and was told I was first in a queue. I waited less than ten seconds before speaking to a receptionist who was pleasant, business-like and who inspired confidence.I asked to speak to a named doctor using the triage service. Within twenty minutes the doctor rang me and, having listened to my concerns, organised appropriate investigation of my symptoms, including blood tests at the surgery and a scan at a nearby hospital.

She was very professional and friendly. She asked appropriate questions and explained what action she would instigate and why. Several times she reminded me that the services the practice provides are available to me and I should not hesitate to contact the surgery again should I feel the need.

The entire conversation was conducted in a brisk but unhurried manner, and I felt no pressure to be as quick as possible. It was completed in just over five minutes.

I felt reassured and confident that matters would be addressed efficiently and effectively.

I have complete trust in the surgery and its staff.
