"Awesome Staff"

I arrived at A&E today in considerable pain and very scared. As someone who has been shielding for over three months I was nervous to be visiting the hospital and daunted by having to leave my partner outside. However, the whole experience was seamless and every single person I came into contact with during my visit was amazing. From the porters and nurses through to the consultant, and everyone in between, the standard of care provided was exemplary. They reassured me when I became overcome with emotion and fear. Every test was conducted quickly and the results available without delay. I received the diagnosis, and was sent home reassured and with medication to treat my pain, in record time. A huge thanks to everyone who helped me today. I didn't think it was possible to appreciate the NHS any more than I already do but my experience today has taken my appreciation to another level!
