"The care I received was outstanding"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5)

(as a service user),

I attended A&E at QEUH Glasgow and was admitted to ARU3 with hepatitis and gastroenterological problem. It made me feel particularly miserable but the care I received was outstanding. Every single member of the team: reception, cleaners, porters, auxiliary, diagnostic, nursing and medical did their very best for me. There was absolutely nothing that could be criticised about any aspect of my stay in hospital despite it being very busy. Thank you all.

Hello DouglasW,

I am very sorry to read of your recent admission to hospital. It must have been a worrying time for you and I hope that you are feeling much better now.

Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely comments about the staff at QEUH. I will pass your post on to the staff in ARU3. I am sure they will be very pleased to know that they looked after you so well.

Best wishes,

Rachel
