"Excellence in care"

My stay at Circle Bath for a hip replacement could not have been made better. The professionalism, helpfulness and positivity of the staff from the moment I entered the building was faultless. My visit was at a very difficult time for staff, only just having reopened for major surgery for the first time during the Covid-19 pandemic. There were obviously new procedures in place for all staff and an amount of learning on the job. No-one however, showed any irritation or lack of confidence. It was clear listening to the interaction between the staff members that even when something was not quite in the right place following the deep cleaning of the building, or PPE protocols were making things take a little longer, that they were all so supportive of each other, the "can do" atmosphere penetrated the entire organisation. That includes porters and HCAs, nurses and doctors, cleaners and catering staff.

The clinical care I received was faultless, procedures explained thoroughly before their instigation, expectations discussed and discharge slick and efficient with no unnecessary delay. Physiotherapy sessions on the ward after surgery were excellent and all of my questions answered and advice, both verbal and written was clear.

I felt supported on discharge with telephone numbers to call for any issues and follow up at my local hospital arranged.

All in all I cannot fault any aspect of Circle Bath and would highly recommend the hospital for both clinical and pastoral care.
