Had an angiogram performed following a telephone consultation (original appointment cancelled due to Covid-19). During the procedure it was found that an artery was blocked and a stent was needed. The surgeon offered to do this there and then, after which normal blood flow was restored. My chest pains have gone and I feel immensely better. I have also been contacted for additional diagnostic checks to be carried out and also for additional cardiac support and rehabilitation. I would like to thank the whole team for the excellent care that they have provided during the current difficult circumstances.
