"End-of-life care, concerning my brother"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

(as a relative),

One year ago today my brother Lance, who had suffered a subarachnoid brain bleed in March 2019, had a sudden collapse at his (excellent) care home, Ashton Lodge, and was brought to Northwick Park Hospital, where despite great efforts on your part he passed away. I arrived in London from Manchester that evening, with my wife, and by 10 pm had been conducted by your specialist staff, with the most extraordinary tact, compassion and efficiency, through the steps which had to be taken, including what was for me the most painful part, the viewing of his body. Thank you, all of you.

Dear Mike K,

Thank you for taking the time to share this lovely feedback. I am so glad to hear that we were able to show such care and compassion during what must have been a very difficult time for you and your family.

Best wishes
