Dear 106

We apologise you felt uncomfortable whilst presenting within the department, this would never be our intention. To monitor for potential covid symptoms, it is important that the medical/ nursing staff ask screening questions to protect not only you but the other patients and staff as required. As it stands currently, we do not have another process but I would like to reassure you that no personal specific details would be asked within earshot of members of the public. I apologise for any distress this has caused you.

Kind Regards

Holly Carter (A&E Sister)
