"Inconsistent at best"

About: St Johns Way Medical Centre

Have been with this surgery for a while now (1 year or so) and the level of service never reaches what I would consider to be good. There are nation wide issues affecting every GP surgery but these guys take it to a new level. I´m not sure if it is just that the surgery is badly managed but the consultants seem to be very much over it as well.

I´m not talking just during COVID times as this is a highlights list of what has happened to me in less than a year. Failed to access my patient records for over 3 months while blaming old practice for not sending them (they had), they have made several mistakes regarding my prescriptions (both front staff and consultants)( in one case my IVF treatment was jeopardised due to a consultant not listening to me or paying attention to my notes) and called me in for tests then nobody knowing why I´m there or what to do. This on top of the usual GP surgery tropes like rude staff, annoyed consultants that make you feel like you are intruding just by booking an appointment.

I am sorry to read your comment and this is definitely not the service we would expect to provide our patients. It is difficult to investigate your concerns as your comment was anonymous. If you could contact the surgery with some specific details we can investigate them for you and hopefully provide you with a satisfactory outcome.

Many thanks,

Jack Johnson-Rose

Practice Manager
