"First class service"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital

Had to go in as I had a suspected detached retina. Entrance into hospital well controlled and very friendly, as was the entrance into the Ophthalmology Dept. I was particularly impressed with the thought that had gone into reducing the viral load of the doctors - prior to my examination, I was in the treatment room by myself an described the problem and symptoms via telephone. Then the doctor examined me in person. A simple, but effective way of dealing with the enforced changes all of the NHS has had to face.

Exiting the department and the hospital was again friendly and well controlled.

Many thanks to all concerned!

Thank you for sharing your experience and I am delighted to hear the measures we have taken to protect our patients and staff, are effective without being unfriendly. I hope your eye is better now.

Take care and keep safe.
