"Outstanding treatment and care"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Had a very sudden admission for a 5 day plasma exchange, referred by ophthalmology, overseen by neurology and with treatment from the renal ward. I can not put into words how humbled, impressed and truly grateful I am to absolutely every professional who treated me, especially the lovely nurse who came in twice on her days off to make sure I had continous treatment. The patience, quality of care, friendliness and professionalism of staff was superb. Everyone communicaed what was happening, at every stage of my treatment and I can't thank everyone enough.

We are blessed to have such an amazing team looking after the people of Sunderland.
