"Day in red zone admissions 1 at victoria hospital kirkcaldy"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical)

(as a service user),

I was referred to the unit for investigations due to severe headaches following suspected covid-19 infection several months ago with ongoing post viral fatigue symptoms.

I had care provided by nurses and HCSWs on unit, was transported by porters and treated by radiographers and Drs. I felt so well respected and cared for, far surpassing experiences I have had in the past in other hospitals.

Dear pamtreeOT,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide positive feedback on your patient experience whilst in Admissions Unit One. I hope you are recovering well.

This must have been a worrying time for you. I am so pleased during this time you felt well respected and cared for by all members of staff.

Feedback is always appreciated and I will be delighted to share yours with the wider NHS Fife team.

Take care and stay safe.

Best Wishes,

Sharon
